Two Friends, One Farm

Chris and Edwin have been friends for years and raising mealworms, long before it occurred to us to turn it into a business. That changed in late 2025, when we realized how hard it was to find high-quality, locally-raised mealworms anywhere in the Chicago–Milwaukee area.

Why Local Matters

Most mealworms sold in the Midwest ship in from operations hundreds or thousands of miles away. By the time they reach your animals they've been through days of transit, temperature swings, and rough handling. We wanted to offer something better: mealworms raised close to home, fed well, and delivered fresh.

How We Work

We do this ourselves. From tending the trays to packing your order to answering emails, it's just Chris and Edwin. Our mealworms are raised on direct-from-farm wheat bran and fresh vegetables, in climate-controlled trays we check by hand.
